History:

The Ygnacio Valley Library has been serving the needs of the community for nearly fifty years. The Library opened in 1975 to serve the rapidly growing neighborhoods in the area and to support the educational mission of local schools.  

The Library was made possible through the generous contributions of land and money by Mr. and Mrs. Thurman G. Casey, who once owned the property.
