Join us August 21 (Member Night) and August 22 (Everyone Welcome) for our Book Sale!

Member Night:  Friday, August 21 – 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m – pre-sale for Friends members.

General Book Sale:  Saturday, August 22 – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

> Everyone welcome.

> End of Sale “Bag Sale” from 4:00 to 5:00 – Fill a bag for $5.00.

Our books are sorted for purchaser convenience.  See below list of our list of quarterly book sale categories (excepting the Holiday Sale, which is a smaller boutique of gift quality books and other items).  Please be sure to bring cash for book sale purchases.

“Friend”-ship Benefit: YV Friends are invited to the Friends Only Pre-Sale on the Friday night before each quarterly book sale.  Become a Friend to get the best choices in books and other media.

•  Members Nights – Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

•  Public Sales – Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Small paper backs – $0.50

All children’s books – $0.50

All other books – $1

CDs – $1

DVDs – $2

Also:

•  Special books are offered at special prices.

•  Bag sale: 4 – 5 pm. Fill a bag of books for only $5.00.  Bags  provided by the Friends.

•  Location: Sales are held in the YV Library Meeting Room.

At the back of the library.

We accept cash at all book sales at this time – No credit cards..   

VOLUNTEERING FOR OUR BOOK SALES

Please contact us if you would like to volunteer to help before, at, or after our book sales.  Just a couple of hours every few months can be a great help in setting up, selling books, or taking down after each quarterly sale…  

We need volunteers good with moving crates, those who like to sort books into categories, and those who are helpful in general!
