History:

The Ygnacio Valley Library has served the needs of our community for nearly fifty years. The Library opened in 1975 to serve the rapidly growing neighborhoods in the area and to support the educational mission of local schools.

The Library was first made possible through the generous contributions of land and money by Mr. and Mrs. Thurman G. Casey, who once owned the property. The Friends of the YV Library thank all of you in our community who help the Library to continue it efforts to to educate, enable, and build relationships in our community.
